Your account is opened immediately, once you enter your personal information and choose your plan. You will be able to use your PIN number in half an hour after receiving the plan details by email.
2. What are the payment methods accepted?
BananaCall accepts payments made with credit or debits cards. You can safely use your MasterCard, VISA, American Express or Discover card.
3. Will I receive a bill?
No, this is a prepaid service. You pay in advance and you will never receive a bill for the calls you place using our plans.
4. Do I receive a card in the mail?
No, we do not send you a physical order through mail. After you register with Banana Call, all the information you need will be sent to your e-mail adress
5. Is purchasing online secure?
Purchasing online has become in 2006 one of the safest payment methods. All transactions are supported by the industry's standard 56-bit SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption. Your credit card information will remain confidential.
6. How do I choose a plan?
You can customize any plan on BananaCall to suit your calling habits. To determine which card is right for you, simply select your destination country. Connection fee plans offer very low rates, but charge a certain fee everytime your call is connected. A plan with a connection fee offers more minutes and is recommended for long calls. Plans with a maintenance fee offer low rates for their destination and are great for people that use up their balance in one or two weeks.
7. Are there any charges applied to my plan?
There are no additional charges added to your plan. If you have chosen a plan with a maintenance fee or a connection fee, these fees are deducted from your balance weekly or on every connected call.
8. Can I use my mobile with your service?
You can use your plan from BananaCall in the same way you use it from your home phone. You will benefit from up to 80% lower rates than your regular cellular provider.
9. Are the rates different depending on the time of the day or week?
No. BananaCall plans will have the same low rates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
10. What is automatic recharge? How can I activate it?
When your balance is low, you can choose to manually or automatically recharge your plan. With automatic recharge, you can set a low limit when your PIN will be automatically recharged with the amount you choose. This way you make sure you always have enough minutes whenever you need to place an important call.
11. What is pinless dialing? How can I register phone numbers?
With pinless dialing you don't have to remember your PIN on every call. BananaCall offers you the possibility to register up to 6 phone numbers with your plan. Whenever calling from one of the registered numbers, you will simply dial our access number and the number you want to call.
12. How long does it take for pinless dialing to be activated on my phone?
Once you register a phone number, it will be activated within approximately 30 minutes.
13. What if I forgot my password?
Click 'Forgot password' in Customer Login box and fill it in with the e-mail you registered your account with.
