Many phone card providers nowadays will advertise the option of PINless dialing. And although many calling card users might already know what this is and takes advantage of it - there are still some callers who will wonder what the PINless option is and if it really is that important.
Although calling cards give you a very convenient, high quality and extremely affordable way of placing international calls, it does come at a cost: and that is the need to dial long strings of digits to get your call connected. Normally, you'd have to call an access number (about 10 digits) then you'd need to enter the PIN code (another 10 digits) and then finally dial the destination number in international format (this can be another 12 digits or so). This brings us to a total of 32 digits to get one call connected. Although the great savings you're making while using a phone card are oftentimes worth this effort - it's in our human nature to keep on improving products, technologies, procedures, etc. And this is exactly how PINless dialing came about: as a means for users to have a faster, more direct way of dialing.
For your convenience, you can now register up to 6 numbers (from which you call most often) with PINless dialing. When you use your BananaCall calling card to place calls from one of these numbers, your number is recognized by our system and you're no longer asked to enter your PIN code. This saves you from dialing an entire 10 digits number! It works like this: soon after you dial the access number, our system will recognize if your number is registered for PINless dialing; and if it is, you will be asked to enter the destination number directly.
We suggest you register with PINless dialing only numbers that you use on a constant basis, and preferably numbers to which other people don't have access. Otherwise, you might risk other people using up you phone card credit, without your permission.
Also keep in mind that with all products from BananaCall, you can also use Speed Dial and assign the destination numbers that you call most often to a shortcut key. This will spare you from dialing another 10-14 digits.
The PINless dialing and Speed Dial options combined can make your dialing process a lot faster and less complicated. Once you're using them, making international calls to worldwide destinations will not only be very affordable, but also just as easy as dialing any local destination you normally call.
